Yin Yoga and harp: a single breath towards letting go

Some practices invite us to slow down. Yin Yoga is one of them: postures held for a long time, on the floor, where the body gradually softens and the mind settles.
To this inner practice comes the harp, played live and entirely improvised.

As you settle into each posture, the harp strings resonate freely through the space. Their vibrations envelop the body and create a true sound cocoon, inviting letting go and inner listening.

The music is born of the moment. I observe the rhythm of the class, the breath, the slowness of the transitions, to accompany without ever forcing. Through its natural resonance, the harp supports the continuity of movement and relaxation, weaving an unbroken thread of sound from one posture to the next.

There is nothing to achieve, nothing to perform: simply let yourself be carried, return to the present moment, and savour a suspended moment in time where breath, gesture and sound answer one another.

This experience was born from the meeting between Anaïs The Harpist and Lokah Yoga: bringing the Yin and the harp together to offer body and mind a deeply calming pause. This pairing of Yin Yoga and live harp remains a one-of-a-kind experience in Bordeaux, and still rare in France.
